The Department of Justice estimates the most frequent age entry into the commercial sex industry in the United States is 12-14 years old. Abroad victims have been found as young as 5 years old. Traffickers sell women and children online everyday. Pimps use violence and coercion to commercially sexually exploit young girls. These facts and more made a group of women focused on what they could do to combat this heinous crime. Together they wanted to create awareness for what sex trafficking actually is and raise funds to support organizations that provide services to the victims of these heinous crimes. It takes an incredible amount of courage to recover and become restored from this trauma. These young victims need our help. They need us to become aware.
