RACE START TIME:

September 29th, 2012 Folsom race:

6:30-7:45am Walk Up Race Day Registration/ Late Bib “Pre-Registered” pick up

8:00am- 10K Start, Fastest split times to the front

8:10am- 5K start, fastest split times to the front (There will be a Red Ribbon separating the 10K and 5K. 5K runners Please line up behind the red ribbon)

9:40am- Awards

5K and 10 K courses

To accommodate for increased participation, the race will start in the large field at (North Parkway), then take you through Folsom’s beautiful bike trails throughout the Parkway community. The courses are completely closed to traffic and safe for all ages. We are encouraging families to participate and strollers are welcome. Bicycles are prohibited on course for safety reasons.

We will be using the new technology of  disposable chip timing again this year!

Awards Ceremony

Awards will be given to the top competitors in various age groups.

Photographers/Videographers

Photographers will be taking shots of the race so look for some great photos on our website following race day.


Registration Options

Register Online
Available through Septmenber 26th as an INDIVIDUAL or as a TEAM.
Your team does not have to register at the same time. Each individual member can register at their convenience. Please remember to choose the radio button TEAM 5K or TEAM 10K, that will give you your team discount. Children can be on a team, but we made the child pricing at one level. Follow the following directions as a team:

  1. Think of 5 or more friends that you would like to be on your team
  2. Members can run either the 5 or 10K race and still be on one team
  3. Click here to go to the Race Registration page
  4. Click on either the 5K or 10K TEAM Member radio button
  5. Click on the pull down box that says, “ Select or Create Your Team”
  6. Scroll to the bottom and choose Create New Team
  7. Type in Team Name, Team Captain, and type in a password. (This password will be shared with all team members)
  8. Follow through with the rest of registration and payment
  9. Begin a Fundraising Page for your team if you’d like by Clicking “Start Fundraising” after registering
  10. Now you are able to e-mail and send your team name and password to your team members. Each team member can register at their convenience. You do not all have to register at the same time.
  11. Remind your team members that we will have an award for the largest team at the race so invite all your friends!

Race Day In Person Registration
Cash and  Checks PREFERRED.

We will have a credit card option, but we are hoping to get people through the lines as quickly as possible and checks and cash help us move lines fast!
Saturday September 29th, 2012:  You can register in person on race day and pick up your bib and goody bag at the registration table located near the Starting Line. However, this is discouraged. By registering early, it helps the race run smoother. Race Day registration will be from 6:30-7:30am. Cash and Checks PREFERRED.
