What Runners Have to Say…….
My 15y/o, 9y/o and I had a WONDERFUL time today and are VERY much looking forward to next year’s race! It was wonderful to be out there with SO many other people who share the same passion and we’re excited for next year!
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say “Thank you” for all your hard work today at the Race. I have participated in many races over the past years and kudos to your team for making it a great experience. I ran with the team “Sole Sisters” and all of us agreed that the check-in was super quick and easy, the race course was beautiful and not overcrowded, all the people cheering us on were so fun. Best race I have attended in the EDH/Folsom area in a long time. Pats on the back to you all for making our morning so fun!
” I do want to let you know Jim and I had a great day! The race went so smoothly. Everyone did a great job!! ” The Baldwins
“From the time we signed up to participate in the worthwhile Run For Courage race we received numerous communications thanking us and reminding us about the date. Prior to the race we received an email, from the organizers, informing us they were looking forward to seeing us. My husband and I are new to the run/walk event world and so we needed helpful, clear information about where we were to go and what to do. When we arrived we were welcomed by many enthusiastic, informative people directing us to the proper places and encouraging us all the way. The walk/run was well organized and our questions were answered by the many smiling, helpful and well informed volunteers. Along the route we were welcomed and cheered on by volunteers that kept us on the correct path and gave us water as we needed it. There were clear signs at the gathering area and all along the path. It was evident that many hours of planning and work had been invested in the event. The announcer, Jason Harper was very professional, enthusiastic, and informative. We were surprised and pleased to be entertained by East Bound Fifty, a local band. We topped off the morning by walking over to Big Spoon Yogurt. We can’t wait for next year and more runs in more cities” -JCM
“The event was awesome and for a great cause! It was my first running event I participated in and I had a great time. Hoping they will continue to do this event annually!” M T
“Excellent course. I loved running it in the opposite direction as the Turkey Trot.” – S B
“The event was well organized for this first time group and they sure had a passion and followed it! Thank you for putting on this event and making our community aware of this tragic activity that is right in our own back yard. Can’t wait until the next one!” – L R
“I truly enjoyed participating! The course was well thought out and the knowing the event was started with such passion and devotion made it even better. Great job!! I will definitely participate again and spread the word!” M L

“I’ve never seen so many volunteers cheering on the runners. What a great race you all planned and everyone was so happy to be out there, working hard for a great cause. Thanks for all the endless hours it took to put this on. Thanks for the live music. Thanks for the cheering teams all over the place. We’ll be back next year for sure.” – C M
“My 7 yo daughter and had such a great time at this event. This was her first 5K and she loved the cheerleaders and the band. The route was perfect for a family to enjoy together, nice and flat not too difficult for kids. We plan on attending this as mother / daughter as long as you continue to have it. Completing the race boosted her self esteem so much and knowing she was helping other girls by doing made it that much better. My son said he wants to run it with us next year!” -Jog Mom
